As a long-time Park City Realtor, I often think of what I love most about the area. Then memories of breathtaking ski resorts, top-rated public schools, and charming Park City restaurants come to mind.
One of the highlights of owning Park City real estate is the mouthwatering food in the community. I made a list of seven Park City best restaurants that locals and tourists will enjoy.
The Best Burger
The first on this list of seven Park City best restaurants is about an American favorite — burgers. Located in Westgate Park City Resort & Spa, Drafts Burger Bar serves a large selection of wings, sides, shakes, beers, and the best gourmet burgers in the community. The restaurant also boasts spectacular views.
Drafts Burger Bar has a wide variety of burgers, but my vote for the best one goes to Southern Hospitality. This gourmet burger contains the juiciest barbecue pulled pork with perfectly-cooked cheese, pickles, and coleslaw. You can enjoy it with the Strawberry in Paradise shake or any of the many draft beer options.
The Best Steak
If you’re looking for the best steak in Park City, I recommend visiting Prime Steak House Piano & Bar. The restaurant lies in the heart of the city, near ski resorts and metropolitan areas.
It’s hard to choose the best dish because there are so many exceptional ones. But I would have to say the best steak in Park City is the New York Strip from Prime Steak House Piano & Bar. The mouthwatering dish is aged for 28 days to create the perfect combination of flavor and texture. Matched with the in-house Peppercorn sauce, the result is a tender, juicy, and delectable course.
Mix and match your steak with the restaurant’s equally impressive appetizers, salads, desserts, and specialty drinks.
The Best Vegetarian and Vegan Food
I have been a Park City realtor for a long time, but I still find myself going back to the historic district, where 501 On Main stands. The area exemplifies the best things about the community, including contagious liveliness and picturesque sights.
The quaint restaurant provides seasonal menus, classic entrees, and regional cuisine with gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. These include Caprese salad, vegan chili, and my favorite gourmet grilled cheese served with tomato soup.
If you want to enjoy delicious vegetarian and vegan options that are not purely leaves and dressings, I highly recommend 501 on Main.
The Best Pizza
Finding delicious pizza in Park City is a challenge, but Este Pizzeria offers just that and so much more. The cozy restaurant developed a remarkable dining and curbside experience with tasty food, excellent service, and great value.
Este Pizzeria serves starters, salads, sandwiches, calzones, strombolis, desserts, and a wide variety of pizzas. It has specialty, vegan, and build-your-own pizza with gluten-free crust options. Each pizza is comparable to New York-style foldable ones, and my favorite is the Margherita.
Este Pizzeria’s Margherita pizza perfectly crafted the classic flavor with fresh ingredients and a special house sauce. I would also recommend their terra, barbecue chicken, and lasagna pizza.
The Best Sports Bar
To honor Park City residents’ love for the state’s professional sports teams, I’m recommending the best sports bar in the neighborhood. The best sports bar to visit when you want to watch Utah Jazz, Utah Warriors, or Real Salt Lake games is Collie’s Sports Bar & Grill.
The sports bar has 25 TVs with complete sports packages from Direct TV and Comcast for the community’s sports fans. It serves smoked barbecue dishes, burgers, starters, and a spectacular beer list any enthusiast will enjoy. At Collie’s Sports Bar & Grill, you can support your favorite team while enjoying the best IPA, pale, amber, lager, pilsner, wheat, or dark beer.
The Best Cocktails
With two breweries, some distilleries, over a dozen bars, and a club, Park City’s nightlife is a lively scene. Even though I have tried most of them, I find myself going back to O.P. Rockwell, a spacious cocktail lounge and music hall located on Main Street. O.P. Rockwell offers fun activities like live shows, painting-and-wine sessions, and quiz nights.
I used to order the usual cocktails like Manhattan and old-fashioned. One time, I asked for an amaretto sour, but the bartender said it’s not available. He offered me a whiskey sour, and I half-heartedly agreed. I did not know what to expect since I have never tried the cocktail before. But it was the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life, and now I always order the whiskey sour.
If you find yourself in the area, check out O.P. Rockwell and ask the bartenders to surprise you with any cocktail. You will be pleasantly surprised with the results.
